Inclusion Interamericana, formerly known as CILPEDIM, is an umbrella organization made up by a federation of parents and friends of persons with a disability throughout the Americas. We were born in Santiago, Chile in July 1991, and since then our goal has been to promote and defend the human rights of the persons with a disability, as well as ensure their full integration into society.

Inclusion Interamericana is the continental branch of Inclusion International, a world federation of parent associations. Our principles are contained in the Declaration of Managua, signed on December 3rd, 1993.

We invite you to browse our website, where you will find relevant information on our work, our vision and our principles. You will also find documents and news of great value for our work and for the work of other institutions devoted to the same goals. The Nicaraguan singer-songwriter Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy donated to Inclusion International the copyrights of his beatufil song "Atrévete" (Dare it). This song, for its social content, its elevated humanism, and its musical beauty, is called to become the world theme for persons with disability.

Thanks to the generosity of Luis Enrique you can have access to the song doig click on the picture on the left. You can download the file to your computer and play it in any software able to play MP3 files (Winamp, Windows Media, Music Match Jukebox, etc.) or listen to it on line if your browser has the apropriate plugin.
